Tools and technologies
Across all of my work I make use of technologies to help us work together efficiently (for example, Miro, Trello and TeamGantt and - of course! - the Microsoft Office suite and Google Workplace). Wherever possible I try to provide a complete service to you. I'm familiar with the Adobe software and can do some (limited) graphics, layouts and multimedia work including voiceovers.

about me
I really enjoy things that a lot of people don't: report-writing, working with data, risk registers, designing workshops and facilitating meetings. So, in 2017, I left a senior job in an educational organisation to start up a business doing just these things (and none of the things I don't like and am less good at like marketing and managing people).
Through Higher Capacity I provide support to organisations on a very flexible basis. I work on the basis of a day rate, but because I work across multiple projects you don't have to 'block book' me in the way that you would an interim staff member.
I can support projects that require a few hours every week or month, or I can work more intensely for you for a short period of time. I prefer to take things from start to finish and - whilst I will be very happy working with you and your team - I prefer to own things. - I'm from Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria and live in Manchester
- I share my pronouns because it's a small thing that helps trans people feel comfortable to share theirs
- I manage anxiety/depression and I'm an advocate for open discussion of mental health challenges
- I'm a volunteer and ambassador for SAFA Cumbria a brilliant Barrow-based mental health charity
- I'm proud to be a Trustee of SurrogacyUK which helps people become parents through altruistic surrogacy
