I designed and maintained an Excel model to forecast revenue, based on the flow of students through the organisation’s academic programmes. Revenue flows in education can be complex, running across financial years and varying according to students’ success or failure. The model I developed was used for several years and reliably forecast the company’s revenues (and associated KPIs) to within a small margin of error.
